This single holds two extended versions of peak hour songs. The A-side features “Faded By The Sun”, a cosmic afro beatdown driven by drums, with hints of boogie and frosted with guitar swells and stabs from Michael Jurczak, dripping with 3 AM Ron Hardy energy. The flip features “Celebration Ritual”, a deep Afro House vibe with a ray of jazz fusion. Drenched in marimba, hand drums, a tap dance solo from Stephanie Fica, and live bass from Peter Croce. Both tracks have been lighting up dance floors in dubplate form for the past year and are finally available as a limited 12” release. No fireworks, just a dust sleeve, cut loud to lacquer at 45 RPM, and pressed with pride at Archer on Detroit’s east side.
