Be’or, meaning in Hebrew “inlightened” or “illuminated” is a music project created as a venue for the musicians Florent Manneveau, Marc Abrams and Lorenzo De Vettor. The three musicians use their proper sound, founded on the steady ground of their collective knowledge and passion for ethnomusicology. The result is energetic and unique as they melt folk and traditional music with free Jazz improvisation. The three musicians consider that their research provides them with a vocabulary that allows them to be innovative without overlooking musical and historical tradition.
