BENZO is a one man project by the Lithuanian experimentalelectronic musician and psychotherapist Richardas Norvila. Moscow based Benzo has since 1998 been producing music (himself calling it (Benzo House) in his studio, a single room apartmentwith long-faded floral wallpapers, old mixing desks, a sample archive consisting of Russian vinyl records only, and his extraordinary collection of old Russian synthesizers.Together with Lithuanian electronics expert PranasZenkevitcius and the two Moscow electronics handymen Anatolij Schub and Raphael Gafarov, he has been giving new life to several old synthesizers, there-among a sound generating lie detector.LATON and SEX TAGS MANIA collaborates on releasingBenzo�s second solo release, The Dust/The Tapes: Mania Remixes, a two part double 12″ with limited CD (first 350 copies only).THE DUST (Laton 12″ issue) is following up Benzo�s 2003 debut album The Tapes.
