Following the sub-aqua bass explorations of Benton for Box Clever earlier in 2011, he returns to release a true depth charge on Black Box. 'Skeptics' follows the intro of cryptic vocal samples with a tightly-wound combo of neck-snapping drums and cavernous bass emanations. On the flip Benton raises the tension levels with 'Thermo-Stellar', with mystic soundscapes ripped apart by the menacing snarl bass.
