Since their early days releasing music on DFA Records (Boy Trouble EP in 2011) their tremendous ability to match meaningful lyrical content with expert music synthesis has set them apart from the rest. We’ve also been friends and shared countless stages with them and thats why Soul Clap Records is so delighted to welcome them onboard with the “Old Streets EP”. “Dancing Shoes” provides the powerful lead for the record, while "Old Streets” follows with its playfully melancholic feel, vaguely reminiscent of an Arthur Russell experiment. Tried and tested on the dance floor during our DJ sets “Dancing Shoes” has proven to be a deep anthem and excited us so much that we’ve enlisted a remix from former Footprintz member Clarian (North), who delivers an emotional main mix and deeper dub.
