A year seems an almost unbearable time to wait for this latest instalment in the wonderful Begin series, but we're sure you'll agree, it's well worth the wait ! In fact the timing couldn't be better as we surely need the company of the Summer months to provide the perfect setting for these three new cuts 'Bassballs' kicks things off, as we're caught partying with a few stray members of Maze at the beach bar, effected vocals and synth bass paired up with euphoric key rises, sax and piano elements to provide a magnificent groove. On the flip, 'Bees' lands us in more familiar Begin territory, acoustic strums work under a meandering synthline, as string and plucked piano pick out the melodic phrases perfectly. Finally 'Drop' is a symphony of mesmerising arpeggios & synth washes, hotter than the midday sun
