In 2011 when Mad Mats and Tooli went to Sonar Festival in Barcelona they met Ludovic Llorca aka Art Of Tones outside a club. Little did they know back then that two years later on they would release a 12” together. The Same Thing EP opens with the title track and kicks pretty damn sweet with it’s strong vocal, the guitar, bass and rhodes jamming on top of a tight groove, there’s also a dub version included on the b-side. Last but not least, The Great Sgatmi is a jazzy and bumpy house take with lot’s of samples perfectly balanced.
