SIDE A: THE SESSIONS / SIDE B: HALLOWEEN / “The Sessions” catapulted The Arsonists as one of the pillars of the then new bubbling indy scene that was coming out of New York in the early to mid 90’s. With heavy play on the famed Stretch Armstrong show (hosted by Bobitto – who initially released the song on his legendary Fondle ‘Em Records) the song stood out showcasing the charismatic MC’s over an infectious jazzy bassline. Part Leaders of the New School, part Native Tongues , “The Sessions” was a special blend of originality that was lacking in the climate of Hip Hop at the time of its release.
