Fly by Night Music delivers its first blow with this sublime slice of deep house from Liverpool's Andy Ash. White Leaf sees Timmy Thomas - esque soulful vocals sitting on top of a growling bass washed with a deep detuned pad progression, a modern late night stomper. 500 Motor, sees Andy bring about a more uplifting endeavour, matching percussion with the ever classic cosmic bloops, before subtly building into a ring modulated synth jam. Moody Manc takes White Leaf and extrapolates, further exploring it's dark palette, boosting the bass rhythms into a huge grooving low end and swapping out the wooden percussion for a drum machine complete with rolling rimshot and claps.
