Illusion Recordings off shoot label INNERCIRCLE is back for its fourth edition with french house wizard Andrade stepping up for his debut EP with the Illusion crew. Andrade featured a remix on INC003 on James Barnsley's huge 'Spellbinder EP' and after delivering the goods Illusion were keen for him to flex his musical muscles across a full EP. Andrade has been on a rich vein of form recently releasing on Delano Smiths Mixmode label, One Records and Dessous to widespread acclaim, cementing his standing as one of the most talented house producers around. The EP opens with 'Audio Montage' which takes the listener on a summer trip using lush pads and dreamy hooks to create a laid back montage of sounds which soothes the soul and takes your head to sunnier climes. The track gets the full rework treatment from Nail who strips back the groove and toughens up the beats to create a complimentary heads down vibe to the original, in that indisputable Nail style. The B-side kicks of with 'Promise' which is classic Andrade, interweaving dreamy hypnotic vocals and keys around loose, floaty beats over an insatiable groove delivering on his 'Promise' like only he can. They say good things come to those who wait, well in this case its 'Bad Things' as Andrade finishes his EP with another gem. This time the groove is slung low and the claps, snares and hats are primed for the peak time and late hours when you feel like bat things are going to happen, concluding a classy house EP of the highest quality and showing why Andrade is a true house sorcerer of real worth.
