All Caps - new label from Glasgow - ran by the collective of the same name introduces itself with a strong debut EP from Alex Coulton, a producer from Manchester. The lead track 'Representations' is a skillfully balanced and mature outing for such a young talent, balancing all the essential elements with finesse surprising for his debut EP. Alex Coulton uses the B-side - 'Omar' and 'Squares' - to maneuver his sound in a different direction, yet always managing to keep the levels unquestionably high; ducking and weaving between complex house grooves and rhythms with perfect ease. The release will be a limited, vinyl only run with printed sleeve.
