Willie Wartaal is mostly known as one of the members of De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig who scored the number one hit single and national media hype of 2005 in Holland “Watskeburt” and played all over the country. (Lowlands, Innercity Sensations etc..) Besides that, his DJ career took of as well, playing Amsterdam based clubs like Jimmy Woo and Paradiso and now has his own club night called Riot in Studio 80. Willie Wartaal is also known for his television work. After presenting his own talk show on naional TV, he’s now presenting Villa Life a hugely popular kids program. Arjuna Schiks currently competes in the finals of De Grote Prijs Van Nederland (one of the leading talent contests in Holland) which he is sure he is going to win, and is also producing an collaborating with Holland’s finest producer and DJ 100%Isis and Club Roxy veteran DJ Dimitri. Their joint venture is a sparse but funky minimal beat with an ever so cheerful but weird vocal about a little rabit. Catchy as hell. Comes with a very, very nice remix by Mason & The Maker (of Exceeder/Princess Superstar fame), a funky as ever mix by Seymour Bits, a Meikbar & Melly Mel refix with Switch-like qualities and last but not least the Hitmeister D remix
