Another slice of Amen wizardry, courtesy of Myor's jungle sublabel.
The aside is served up by Southampton native Abyss, owner of Switchblade Digital. Despite its
apocalyptic title, and the fact that most of Abyss' output on his own label is darker than a trip from the Shire to Mordor, "Lightning, Earthquake & Thunder" actually offers a glimmer of hope and some insights into America's ganja consumtion, before pummeling you with a combination of toughasnails Amen chops and probably one of the simplestyetmosteffective bass lines imaginable.
This second Myor Massiv release also marks FFF's second outing on the label. His "BEAST" tune
is pretty much what the title says. It starts off as a nice lickle reggae joint, an open letter of sorts to 50, asking them to stop their brutality. Then, in good Dancehall fashion, the intro is cut off rather abruptly, bass lines and ragga chants barge in head first, the Winstons make an edited appearance and we're off for a chop fest. Amen.
