8factor is a german music project by Tom Franke who was born in 1991 in Leipzig. he is producing music for 8 years without the need to release his music. Tommy Tricker was a former alias of him where he produced mainly boombap instrumentals but also electronic music. "Kommunistische Tumulte" is one of his most watched instrumental on youtube. 8factor is a big fan of propellerheads software called Reason. Most of his tracks contains self-programmed malstrom-synth-textures or processed samples. The Second Dimension Ep is the first release of the Label and contains four hybrid jams which are between the legacy of dutch west coast, & 90s house, produced by 8factor. Main influences are the hacker, old vitalic, legowelt and bicep. All tracks are made for the floor and dj-friendly - but the last Track "Sehnsucht" which means "desire" has cold ambient vide and is good for easy listening.
